Wildlife Rescue & Emergency Response
Fast, Compassionate Help for Injured and Orphaned Wild Animals
What We Do
At GAIA, we provide 24/7 wildlife rescue services for injured, orphaned, or displaced wild animals in urgent need. Whether it's a fawn hit by a car, a bird entangled in fishing line, or a baby raccoon separated from its mother—our trained rescue team acts quickly and humanely to give each animal the best chance of survival.
Human activity is one of the leading causes of wildlife injury. Roads, windows, pollution, and land development put thousands of animals at risk every year. GAIA’s Wildlife Rescue program bridges the gap between injury and recovery, giving wild animals the second chance they deserve.
Our Wildlife
Rescue Process
-
If you find a wild animal in distress, call our hotline or report it online. We’ll guide you on what to do next and dispatch a responder if needed.
-
Our team carefully captures and transports the animal to our rehabilitation center, minimizing stress and injury.
-
Upon arrival, each animal receives a full exam, stabilization, and species-specific treatment from our licensed wildlife rehabbers and vet partners.
-
Once healed, animals are released back into their natural habitat—strong, wild, and free.
